SCHOLARSHIP BENEFITS
Successful applicants will receive a comprehensive scholarship that covers:

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
To qualify for the scholarship, applicants must:

• Be a national of Kenya or any East African country implementing the East Africa Higher Education Protocol (Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, Burundi, and South Sudan)
• Be from an economically disadvantaged or marginalized community
• Be a refugee, displaced person, or a person with a disability (highly encouraged to apply)
• Be under 30 years old for undergraduate programs and under 35 years old for master's programs
• Have completed secondary school or diploma between 2021 and 2024
• Meet the admission requirements for Egerton University
• Demonstrate leadership qualities, interest in agriculture, agribusiness, and community transformation

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS
Applicants must submit the following:

• Certified copies of academic certificates, transcripts, and high school result slips
• Passport-size photograph
• Copy of National ID or Passport (for refugees, a birth certificate is acceptable)
• A CV (for master's degree applicants)

Step 1: Apply for Admission to Egerton University:

a) Undergraduate Applicants: Download the undergraduate application form here .
b) Master’s Applicants: Download the master’s application form here .

• After filling out the downloaded forms and compiling them with the supporting documents, you then submit your admission application to Egerton University via email at mcf.chs@egerton.ac.ke or send hard copies to: TAGDev Centre, Egerton University, P.O Box 536-20115, Egerton Njoro, Kenya

Step 2: Apply for the TAGDev Scholarship
1. Visit the RUFORUM Information Management System (RIMS) at here
2. Create an account and activate it via email
3. Log in and select the Call ID: RU/2025 Egerton Univ/TAGDev 2.0
4. Complete and submit the application form online
5. Download and submit the printed copy with your university application

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

• Check the admission requirements for Egerton University here
• The scholarship is highly competitive, and only successful applicants will be contacted.
• Beneficiaries of other scholarships are not eligible to apply.
• Scholars must maintain a B-grade academic performance to retain the scholarship.
• Any falsification of information will lead to disqualification.
