ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
• Must have completed senior high school with a valid WASSCE, Senior High School Certificate/ result slip, or equivalent results (from 2020 or later)
• Applicants with NO RESULTS in hand are NOT eligible to apply.
• Must have at least six credit passes (A1-C6) in relevant subjects, including English, Mathematics, and Integrated Science
• Must NOT be enrolled in any tertiary institution or have completed one
• Must demonstrate financial need
• Must have a strong academic record and leadership potential
• International applicants must have a valid passport or begin the process of obtaining one
• Must apply separately for admission to KNUST
AVAILABLE PROGRAMS:
Applicants can apply for a wide range of undergraduate degree programs at KNUST in areas such as:
• Science and Technology
• Engineering
• Health Sciences
• Agriculture
• Natural Resources
• Business and Social Sciences

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS:
• Copy of WASSCE/Senior High School certificate or result slip
• Three reference letters (Academic, Religious, Community Leader)
• Copy of your birth certificate
• Evidence of parents’/guardians’ income (payslips, income estimates, or mobile money statements)
• High school transcripts or terminal reports (last 3 years, if available)
• Copy of valid passport bio data page (for international students)
• Any other relevant supporting documents (certificates, awards, etc.)
APPLICATION PROCEDURES:
For International Applicants:
• Download and complete the scholarship application form found at the bottom. Watch how to do it here
• Scan all required documents and the completed application form into a single PDF
• Send the PDF via email to: recruitment.mcf@knust.edu.gh
• Separately apply for admission to KNUST via https://apps.knust.edu.gh/admissions when the admission application portal is opened.
For Ghanaian Applicants:
• Submit your completed application form and documents via courier (EMS/DHL) to:

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
• All submitted names must match across all documents (results slip, ID, passport, birth certificate, etc.)
• Do not call or email the KNUST MCF Secretariat for application updates
• Selection will be based on academic merit, financial need, and leadership potential
• Applicants must apply early and ensure all documents are submitted properly
• Scholarship award depends on gaining admission to KNUST
