SCHOLARSHIP BENEFITS
• Full tuition fee waiver.

o €100 for EU students.
o €500 for non-EU students.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
• Open to all nationalities (Italian, EU, and non-EU students).
• Must be admitted or enrolled full-time at the University of Milan.
• Eligible study levels:

o Bachelor's degree (3 years)
o Single-cycle Master's degree (5–6 years)
o Two-year Master's degree
o Postgraduate schools (excluding medical specialization)
o PhD (if not already funded).

• Must demonstrate financial need (ISEE or equivalent for international students).
• Must meet academic progress requirements (no delays, enough credits).
• First-year students may need to take an aptitude test (depending on the program).
• Cannot hold another scholarship for the same study level.
• Must not already hold a degree at the same or higher level in Italy.
• Must meet language requirements (Italian or English, depending on the course).

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS
• Curriculum Vitae (CV).
• Academic transcripts and certificates.
• Admission or enrollment letter from the University of Milan.
• Aptitude test results (if applicable for new undergraduate or single-cycle Master’s students).
• Valid passport or national ID.
• Proof of income or financial hardship.
• Family certificate or household composition.
• Proof of residence in your home country.
• English proficiency certificate (e.g., IELTS, TOEFL).
• Recent passport-sized photograph.
• Motivation letter or statement of purpose.

APPLICATION PROCEDURES
• Apply for admission to a full-time program at the University of Milan by the program.
• Receive your admission offer or enrolment confirmation from the University of Milan.
• Prepare required documents, including proof of financial need (ISEE or equivalent), academic transcripts, passport, motivation letter, etc.
• Register on the DSU Toscana portal or University of Milan Benefits Service Desk using the link at the bottom of this page.
• Complete the online scholarship application form on the DSU Toscana portal.
• Upload all required documents as part of your application.
• Submit your application before the deadline.
• Await the scholarship award decision, which will be communicated via email or the application portal.
• If awarded, follow instructions to accept the scholarship and access benefits.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
• Scholarship is need-based, not purely merit-based.
• Students must renew the scholarship yearly by proving academic progress and continued financial need.
• The ISEE certificate ,Indicatore della Situazione Economica Equivalente (Equivalent Economic Situation Indicator) is mandatory for assessing financial status; international students must obtain an equivalent.
• Late or incomplete applications are usually not accepted.
