ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
β€’ Be an admitted first-time-in-college (FTIC) student entering Fall 2026.
β€’ Submit a complete freshman admission application with the required fee or waiver.
β€’ Send official SAT, ACT, or CLT test scores directly to FIU in time for consideration.
β€’ Be a U.S. citizen, U.S. lawful permanent resident, international student with an F-1 visa, or an eligible non-citizen.
β€’ No separate scholarship application required, consideration is automatic.
β€’ For National Merit Finalists: list FIU as first choice with the National Merit Scholarship Corporation.

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS

β€’ National Merit Finalists must provide documentation of finalist status.
β€’ For international students: valid passport and visa documents (e.g., F-1 visa).
β€’ Any additional documents requested by FIU during the admission or scholarship review process.
