Kibogora Polytechnic (KP) is pleased to invite applications for a fully funded scholarship opportunity for the September 2025 intake. This scholarship, offered in collaboration with the Ministry of Health (MoH) through France Expertise as part of the 4X4 Strategy, aims to support students passionate about contributing to the health sector. Applications will be accepted from 12th to 17th September 2025, and eligible applicants are encouraged to apply early to secure this life-changing opportunity.

Kibogora Polytechnic is a recognized higher learning institution in Rwanda, legally accredited under the Ministerial Order N°7/2015 and committed to excellence in science and health education. The scholarship program is part of the government’s initiative to strengthen the health workforce and ensure sustainability in the delivery of essential health services. Successful applicants will be given the opportunity to gain quality education, practical skills, and direct integration into Rwanda’s health system after graduation.

SCHOLARSHIP BENEFITS
• Full Tuition Coverage – Scholarship recipients will have their tuition fees fully paid for the entire program.
• Living Allowance – Monthly financial support will be provided to cover basic living expenses.
• Guaranteed Employment Pathway – Beneficiaries will sign a contract with MoH ensuring absorption into the health system after graduation and service for a minimum period.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
• Must have completed General Secondary Education with one of the following combinations:
1. Physics-Chemistry-Biology (PCB)
2. Mathematics-Chemistry-Biology (MCB)
3. Biology-Chemistry-Geography (BCG)
4. Associate Nurse
• Must have two principal passes with at least Grade D in Biology and Chemistry.
• Must have graduated from Senior Six (or its equivalent) in the school year 2023-2024, 2024-2025, or in the previous years.
• Must be ready to sit for the admission test scheduled for 22nd September 2025.
• Must be willing to sign a contract with the Ministry of Health to serve a minimum period in Rwanda’s health system after graduation.

NOTE ELIGIBLE:
• Students already admitted to other programs or universities.
• Students currently benefiting from another government-funded or partner-funded scholarship.
• Students who have completed other university-level programs.
• Working professionals who cannot terminate their current employment to join the program.

AVAILABLE PROGRAM
• Bachelor of Science in Anesthesia (with Honors) – a 4-year full-time program.

• Senior Six Certificate (or equivalent)
• National ID or Passport

APPLICATION PROCEDURES
1. Prepare the required documents in digital format (PDF).
2. Apply online through the application link at the bottom of this page.
3. Await confirmation to sit for the admission test.
4. Sit for the test on 22nd September 2025.
5. Final selection will be based on test results, after which selected students will sign a contract agreement with the Ministry of Health.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
• Any false information or violation of eligibility criteria will lead to immediate disqualification and possible sanctions.
• This scholarship is designed to build capacity in the health sector; therefore, recipients must commit to serving in Rwanda’s health system after graduation.
