Are you a young woman passionate about technology and eager to advance your coding skills? The SheCanCODE Advanced Coding Bootcamp offers a life-changing opportunity to level up your technical abilities and prepare for real-world employment in Rwanda’s growing digital economy. This program is tailored to help you master full-stack web development, build hands-on projects, and gain the confidence to enter the tech job market.
SheCanCODE is an initiative by Igire Rwanda Organization under the Digital Skills for Employability (DSE) Program, implemented in partnership with Digital Opportunity Trust (DOT) Rwanda and the Mastercard Foundation. The program forms part of a national effort to train 10,000 Rwandan youth, focusing on vulnerable groups such as women, refugees, and persons with disabilities. Through this collaboration, participants receive mentorship, career readiness support, and direct linkages to internships and job placements.

SCHOLARSHIP BENEFITS

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Applicants must:
• Be a young woman passionate about coding and technology.
• Have basic knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Java programming concepts.
• Be committed to completing the 16-week program.
• Be a Rwandan youth, preferably from vulnerable or underrepresented groups (women, refugees, or people with disabilities).
AVAILABLE PROGRAMS
Applications are open for:
• Frontend Advanced Class (React, Next.js, Responsive UI Design)
• Backend Advanced Class (Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs)
REQUIRED DOCUMENTS
• Copy of National ID or Passport
• Updated CV
• Motivation letter stating interest and goals
• Proof of prior coding knowledge or coursework (if available)
APPLICATION PROCEDURES

2. Complete the online registration form.
3. Attach all required documents.
4. Submit your application before the stated deadline.
5. Shortlisted applicants will be contacted for further assessment or interviews.
