To support exceptional guest experiences and smooth golf operations, Rwanda Ultimate Golf Course is seeking a friendly, customer-oriented, and dependable Golf Starter. This entry-level role is ideal for individuals passionate about golf and eager to work in a dynamic outdoor environment while contributing to efficient course operations.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

• Holder of a high school diploma or equivalent
• Passion for golf and willingness to learn
• Ability to provide excellent customer service
• Physically able to stand or walk for extended periods
• Prior customer service or golf-related experience is an added advantage but not required

AVAILABLE POSITIONS

• Golf Starter (Reports to: Golf Operations Manager)

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Greet golfers upon arrival and manage check-ins according to scheduled tee times
• Inform players about course rules, policies, and daily announcements
• Monitor and manage the pace of play to ensure timely starts and smooth flow on the course
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing golfer inquiries, requests, and concerns
• Assist with cart rentals, directions, and information about course amenities
• Coordinate with course marshals to ensure proper golf etiquette and smooth operations
• Communicate safety information regarding weather, hazards, or course conditions
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the starter area, ensuring availability of scorecards and supplies
• Coordinate with the Pro Shop regarding tee time changes, cancellations, or operational issues
• Support tournaments and special golf events, including participant check-in and setup
