Public Area Attendant – Rwanda Ultimate Golf Course (RUGC)

INTRODUCTION

Rwanda Ultimate Golf Course (RUGC) is a private company aiming to position Rwanda as the premier golfing destination in Africa and one of the best in the world. Its flagship project, the Kigali Golf Resort & Villas, is a real estate masterpiece designed by the internationally renowned Gary Player. The facility will include a five-star clubhouse and various other amenities to provide an exceptional experience for members and guests.

The Public Area Attendant ensures the cleanliness, hygiene, and overall appearance of RUGC public areas, creating a safe, welcoming, and visually appealing environment for members, guests, and staff.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

·        Previous experience in housekeeping, cleaning, or public area maintenance is an advantage.

·        Knowledge of hygiene and sanitation standards is desirable.

·        Ability to perform physically demanding tasks.

AVAILABLE POSITIONS

·        Public Area Attendant (Shift-based, including weekends and public holidays)

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

·        Clean and sanitize public areas including lobbies, corridors, restrooms, terraces, and outdoor spaces.

·        Dust, sweep, mop, and vacuum surfaces, floors, furniture, and fixtures.

·        Maintain cleanliness and order of lobby furniture, décor, signage, and displays.

·        Ensure public areas are free from rubbish, spills, and hazards.

·        Maintain hygiene of all restrooms; restock soap, towels, tissue, and sanitizer.

·        Report plumbing issues, leaks, damages, or maintenance concerns.

·        Respond politely to guest inquiries and provide basic assistance or directions.

·        Follow RUGC health, safety, and hygiene policies.

·        Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and correctly.

·        Assist with special events, tournament setups, or additional cleaning as needed.

·        Coordinate with Facilities and Housekeeping teams for cleaning schedules.

·        Perform any other reasonable duties assigned by supervisors.
