The Egypt-Japan University of Science and Technology (E-JUST) is pleased to announce the opening of applications for Fall 2026 International Admission under the E-JUST TICAD 8 African Scholarships for Science, Technology, and Innovation (STI). This fully funded scholarship program invites qualified applicants from African countries (non-Egyptian) to pursue postgraduate studies at E-JUST in Egypt. This scholarship program is launched under the cooperation between the Government of Egypt, the Government of Japan, and the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA). E-JUST, located in New Borg El-Arab City, Alexandria, is a leading research-oriented university established through Egyptian–Japanese collaboration, with strong academic support from Japanese partner universities. The TICAD 8 Scholarships build on the success of the previous TICAD 7 program, which successfully enrolled 128 African postgraduate students from 14 African countries.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

• Be a citizen of an African country (non-Egyptian)
• Be a researcher, university instructor, or a candidate with strong potential to become one
• Seek to pursue a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in fields related to Science, Engineering, Technology, Business, Humanities, or Cultural Heritage
• Meet E-JUST academic admission requirements for postgraduate studies
