The successful candidate will play a key role in managing financial records, ensuring compliance with financial procedures, and supporting effective budget execution through accurate accounting and reporting practices.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Applicants must meet one (1) of the following academic qualifications:

·        Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting

·        Bachelor’s Degree in Finance

·        Bachelor’s Degree in Management with a professional qualification recognized by IFAC (e.g., ACCA, CPA)

·        Bachelor’s Degree in Management with specialization in Finance or Accounting

Relevant work experience:

·        0 year of relevant experience required

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The selected candidate will be responsible for the following duties:

·        Keep and update the Sector’s books of accounts.

·        Impute budgetary expenditures and properly file all supporting documents.

·        Verify that initiated disbursements align with Sector priorities and comply with financial procedures.

·        Carry out periodic bank account reconciliations.

·        Manage and replenish petty cash and maintain all related supporting documents.
