ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

a.     General Undergraduate Requirements

Applicants must complete the application form and submit high school transcripts with one of the following qualifications:

·       West African Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (WASSCE)

o   Minimum grade of C6 in six subjects: Core Mathematics, Core English, Integrated Science, and three electives

o   Engineering applicants must have taken Physics and Elective/Further Mathematics

·       Six IGCSE (GCE O-Level) passes including Mathematics, English, and Science, plus at least three A-Level passes (A–D)

·       International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma

·       American/Canadian High School Diploma

·       French Baccalaureate (with certified English translation)

·       Other equivalent qualifications approved by the Ghana Tertiary Education Commission

b.     Additional Requirements for International Students

·       Certified English translations of documents not originally in English

·       Proof of English language proficiency (TOEFL, IELTS, or equivalent) if English was not the language of instruction

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Through a partnership between Ashesi and Arizona State University, and in collaboration with the Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program, eligible students can pursue an accelerated master’s degree pathway. This program allows students to complete both their undergraduate and master’s degrees in five years instead of the usual six years, providing a fast-track opportunity for academic and professional advancement.
