The Rwanda TVET Board (RTB) invites qualified and motivated candidates to apply for various teaching and administrative positions available across TVET schools. This recruitment aims to strengthen technical and vocational education by attracting competent professionals dedicated to delivering quality skills-based training in Rwanda.Register now for new programs at MK SCHOLARS
Successful candidates will contribute to the effective implementation of Competency-Based Training (CBT), institutional management, infrastructure development, and student support services. All applicants will undergo a Psychometric Test and Written Examination, while selected senior positions will also require an Oral examination.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Applicants must meet the following general requirements:
· Possess the required academic qualifications specified for each position.
· Meet the minimum years of experience required (where applicable).
· Demonstrate high integrity and professional ethical standards.
· Have knowledge of the TVET system and education sector (for relevant positions).
· Be fluent in English (some positions require French and/or Kinyarwanda).
· Successfully pass the required examinations (Psychometric Test, Written, and where applicable, Oral).
· Provide proof of professional registration for regulated positions (e.g., Engineers, Quantity Surveyors).

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Depending on the position, key responsibilities include:
· Preparing and delivering competency-based training sessions.
· Supervising teaching and learning processes.
· Conducting assessments and providing feedback to students.
· Maintaining tools, machines, and training equipment.
· Managing school administration, logistics, and assets.
· Ensuring discipline, leadership, and coordination of school activities.
· Supporting ICT systems, e-learning tools, and infrastructure.
· Supervising construction and MEP projects in compliance with standards.
· Preparing reports, budgets, strategic plans, and procurement documentation.
· Ensuring compliance with government regulations and professional standards.
Senior and technical positions require strong analytical skills, leadership abilities, project management competence, and professional registration where applicable.

· Copy of National ID or Passport
· Proof of relevant working experience (where required)
· Valid professional practicing certificate (for regulated professions)
· Proof of teaching experience (for Deputy Head Teacher – Studies and Head Teacher positions)
