FULL SCHOLARSHIP IN USA (NEW SEASONS YOUTH PROGRAM 2026)
The New Seasons Youth Program (NSYP) is inviting academically gifted and talented students from Africa and the Caribbean to apply for its upcoming program cycle. This innovative initiative connects high-achieving students from disadvantaged backgrounds with opportunities to pursue higher education in the United States. The program focuses on empowering young leaders who demonstrate academic excellence, strong character, leadership potential, and a commitment to making a positive impact in their communities. The New Seasons Youth Program operates as an academic recruiting and support initiative that connects qualified international students with American colleges and universities. Through partnerships with tertiary institutions, host families, and host churches in the United States, the program helps selected students transition into American academic and cultural life while pursuing their studies.
SCHOLARSHIP BENEFITS
Students recruited through the New Seasons Youth Program may receive several forms of support, including:
· Free airfare and ground transportation to the city of their assigned college or university
· Coverage of visa, passport, and college application fees
· Clothing and incidental stipends to help students prepare for life in the United States
· Placement with a host family who will support the student’s transition into American culture
· Assignment to a host church that provides spiritual guidance, mentorship, and community support
· Opportunities to engage in community service, church activities, and cultural exchange
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Applicants must meet the following requirements to qualify for the program:
· Academic Excellence:
o Minimum GPA of 3.25 with a SAT score of at least 1200, OR
o GPA of 3.75 or higher if applying without SAT scores
· Leadership:
Applicants must demonstrate leadership abilities within their school, community, or church.
· Documented Financial Need:
Candidates must come from a severely disadvantaged background, such as being orphaned or having parents unable to cover tuition costs due to financial hardship.
· Age Requirement:
Applicants must be 24 years old or younger at the time of the application deadline.
· Commitment and Character:
Students should show strong character, motivation to succeed academically, and a desire to use their education to positively impact society.
AVAILABLE PROGRAMS
Selected participants will have the opportunity to pursue undergraduate studies at accredited American colleges and universities in various academic disciplines depending on their interests and qualifications.
REQUIRED DOCUMENTS
Applicants must prepare and submit the following documents:
· Personal essay (1–2 pages) describing:
o Personal background
o Intended field of study
o Motivation for applying to the program
o Religious affiliations (if any)
o How the applicant plans to use their education to impact society
o Volunteer work and community service
o Awards, talents, or achievements
· Three letters of recommendation (from a teacher, headmaster, pastor, or other community leader)
· Copy of final high school diploma or transcript
· SAT or ACT scores (if applicable)
· Copies of awards, certificates, or achievements
· Recent photograph
· Creative video (maximum 6 minutes) highlighting:
o Talents and extracurricular activities
o Volunteer or community service
o Academic achievements
o Family background
o Motivation for studying in the United States
o An example of leadership experience
APPLICATION PROCEDURES
1. Ensure you meet all the eligibility criteria and prepare the required documents.
2. Send your final examination results (ECZ, WASSCE, WAEC, O-Level, A-Level, Cambridge, CAPE, or equivalent) and SAT scores (if available) to newseasonsyouthprogram@yahoo.com.
3. After review, shortlisted applicants will receive further instructions and may be invited for interviews. Applications are reviewed on a first-come, first-served basis.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Each selected student will be paired with a host family and a host church in the United States. These partnerships are designed to provide emotional, cultural, and spiritual support while students pursue their academic journey. Host families often spend time with students during holidays, meals, and cultural activities to help them adapt smoothly to their new environment.
The program emphasizes not only academic success but also leadership development, community service, and cultural exchange.
APPLICATION DEADLINE
Applicants are encouraged to submit their documents as early as possible, as applications are reviewed in the order they are received. Early submission increases the chances of being considered during the screening phase.
