Applications are invited for the position of Corporate Services Division Manager within Karongi District Administration. This senior management role is responsible for overseeing key corporate functions, including finance, human resources, procurement, and asset management, to ensure efficient service delivery and optimal use of district resources.Register now for new programs at MK SCHOLARS

The position is based in Karongi District and reports directly to the Executive Secretary of the District. The recruitment process will include psychometric testing, a written exam, and an oral interview.

 

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Applicants must meet at least one of the following academic qualifications and experience requirements:

·       Master’s Degree in relevant fields (Human Resource Management, Economics, Management, Business Administration, Public Administration, Accounting, Development Studies, Strategic Management, Public Finance) with 3 years of relevant experience

·       Bachelor’s Degree in relevant fields (Human Resource Management, Economics, Management, Business Administration, Public Administration, Accounting, Development Studies, Strategic Management, Administrative Sciences, Public Finance) with 5 years of relevant experience

Additional requirements:

·       Strong leadership and managerial experience

·       Proven ability in financial and human resource management

·       Knowledge of public sector systems and governance

 

AVAILABLE POSITION

·       Corporate Services Division Manager (1 Position)

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

·       Deputizing the District Executive Secretary when required and participating in the District Technical Coordination Committee

·       Coordinating budget preparation and managing human, financial, and physical resources

·       Consolidating cash flow plans and preparing resource utilization reports for submission to relevant authorities

·       Authorizing and executing district payments based on approved cash flow plans

·       Overseeing contract management to ensure value for money

·       Coordinating procurement planning and capacity building initiatives

·       Supervising asset valuation and amortization within the district
