Icyerekezo SACCO Nyarugenge (ISN) is inviting qualified, competent, and self-motivated candidates to apply for various employment opportunities available within the institution. ISN is a District Savings and Credit Cooperative (D-SACCO) established following the consolidation of ten Umurenge SACCOs operating within Nyarugenge District under the Government of Rwanda SACCO consolidation framework. The institution is officially registered under RCA Certificate No. RGDG012866 and licensed by the National Bank of Rwanda (BNR) to conduct microfinance activities in Rwanda.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Applicants must meet the following general requirements:

·       Hold relevant academic qualifications related to the position applied for

·       Possess relevant professional experience

·       Demonstrate strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills

·       Have knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, and cooperative principles

·       Be proficient in computer applications relevant to the position

·       Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and integrity

·       Fluency in English is required; French is an added advantage for some positions

·       Candidates applying for Administrative Assistant must not be above 35 years old

·       Internal Auditor – 1 Position

·       HR, Procurement & Logistics Officer – 1 Position

·       Business Branch Coordinator – 1 Position

·       IT Officer (Hardware & Software) – 1 Position

·       Senior Internal Auditor – 1 Position

·       Senior Risk and Compliance Officer – 1 Position

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Administrative Assistant to the Managing Director

·       Provide administrative support to the Managing Director’s office

·       Arrange meetings, appointments, and schedules

·       Prepare reports, presentations, and meeting minutes

·       Manage filing, scanning, typing, and document archiving

·       Conduct research and prepare presentations

·       Monitor invoices and financial documentation

·       Maintain professional communication and confidentiality

Internal Auditor

·       Prepare audit plans and conduct internal audits

·       Ensure compliance with IFRS and BNR regulations

·       Prevent fraud, theft, and misuse of funds

·       Review internal control systems and recommend improvements

·       Maintain audit records and evidence

·       Monitor operational risks and compliance matters

HR, Procurement & Logistics Officer

·       Coordinate procurement and tender processes

·       Prepare procurement documents and terms of reference

·       Participate in recruitment and onboarding processes

·       Conduct market research and supplier management

·       Monitor deliveries, shipments, and logistics operations

·       Execute procurement contract negotiations and quality control

Business Branch Coordinator

·       Ensure efficient branch and outlet operations

·       Monitor achievement of sales targets

·       Promote customer and member satisfaction

·       Coordinate collaboration between Head Office and branches

·       Conduct field visits and sales activities

·       Support branch business growth initiatives

IT Officer (Hardware & Software)

·       Provide first-line IT and software support

·       Maintain networking infrastructure and internet services

·       Manage user accounts and access rights

·       Install and maintain IT systems and printers

·       Coordinate software procurement and vendor contracts

·       Ensure data backup, recovery, and IT security processes

Senior Internal Auditor

·       Develop risk-based audit plans

·       Oversee internal control and audit operations

·       Ensure compliance with BNR regulations and IFRS standards

·       Assess operational, financial, and liquidity risks

·       Conduct investigations into fraud and operational irregularities

·       Advise management on risk and compliance improvements

Senior Risk and Compliance Officer

·       Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and institutional policies

·       Maintain confidentiality and professional standards

·       Monitor institutional risk management practices

·       Ensure proper management of work equipment

·       Deliver assigned tasks within required timelines

·       Support compliance and governance activities within the institution

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS
