Applications are invited from qualified and motivated Rwandan candidates for Nursing Lecturer positions in different specialized nursing fields. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

·       Be a Rwandan national.

·       Hold a Master’s degree with at least a Second Class Upper Division or a minimum of 70% in one of the following fields:

o   Medical Surgical Nursing

o   Perioperative Nursing

o   Critical Care and Trauma Nursing

o   Nephrology Nursing

o   Oncology Nursing

·       Have a valid license for clinical practice.

·       Possess good command of English, both written and spoken.

Desirable qualifications include:

·       Publications in peer-reviewed journals.

·       Teaching experience in Higher Learning Institutions.

·       Postgraduate Certificate in Teaching and Learning in Higher Education or a validated Teaching Portfolio Certificate.

AVAILABLE POSITIONS

·       Lecturer in Medical Surgical Nursing

·       Lecturer in Perioperative Nursing

·       Lecturer in Critical Care and Trauma Nursing

·       Lecturer in Nephrology Nursing

·       Lecturer in Oncology Nursing

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Teaching

·       Assist in preparation of teaching modules and subjects.

·       Participate in teaching within the area of specialization.

·       Assess and evaluate students through tests and examinations.

·       Participate in classroom, laboratory, library practices, and examination invigilation.

Research

·       Assist in preparing research proposals aligned with institutional thematic areas.

·       Participate in research activities addressing community challenges.

·       Publish research findings at national, regional, and international levels.

·       Conduct research projects that may lead to PhD studies.

Community Outreach

·       Disseminate research findings to relevant stakeholders.

·       Participate in organizing national scientific conferences.

Consultancy

·       Conduct consultancy activities within the area of specialization.

·       Successfully compete for income-generating consultancy opportunities.

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS

·       Copy of National Identity Card

·       Copy of degree certificate

·       Degree equivalence certificate issued by the Higher Education Council for degrees obtained outside Rwanda

·       Updated Curriculum Vitae (CV)

·       Valid clinical practice license

·       Academic transcripts

·       Any other supporting documents relevant to the position
