SONRISE MENTORSHIP SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM


The Sonrise Mentorship Program is a prestigious initiative designed to assist high-achieving Rwandan students in navigating the competitive college admissions process for undergraduate programs abroad, particularly in the United States. The program provides 12 months of mentorship, connecting students with mentors from the University of Michigan to guide them through exam preparation, essay writing, and application submission.

SCHOLARSHIP BENEFITS
Selected students will benefit from:

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
To be considered for the Sonrise Mentorship Program, applicants must meet the following requirements:

• Must be a Rwandan student aiming to apply for undergraduate programs abroad.
• Demonstrate academic excellence and strong motivation to pursue higher education.
• Be willing to commit to a 12-month mentorship program with active participation.
• Financial background is not a factor in the selection process.


AVAILABLE PROGRAMS
The Sonrise Mentorship Program assists students applying for:

• Undergraduate degree programs at competitive international universities (mainly in the U.S.).
• Various fields of study are accepted, but students should research and choose universities that align with their academic interests.

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS
Applicants should prepare the following documents before applying:

• Clear personal photo
• Essay: The topic is stated on the 2025 application form.
• School reports of S4, S5, and S6 secondary school transcripts.
• Attach a copy of your secondary school diploma/ final REB Exam results
• Personal Cv(Resume)
• Official grading key to interpret scores on your national exam

Fill in the required information and upload the necessary documents. Once you submit your application online, it will be reviewed. You will receive an email confirming that your application has been successfully submitted.
