Operating in Gasabo, Gicumbi, Kayonza, and Nyamagabe, SOS Children’s Villages Rwanda is seeking competent individuals for positions in customer care, human resources, finance, and grants management to support its mission of improving the lives of vulnerable children and families.

 

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

General Requirements

·       Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field depending on the position.

·       Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

·       High ethical standards, integrity, and confidentiality.

·       Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.

·       Ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams.

·       Good command of English and Kinyarwanda.

Position-Specific Requirements

Customer Care Assistant

·       Bachelor’s degree in Administrative Sciences, Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related fields.

·       At least 2 years of professional experience in customer service or related roles.

Administration and Human Resource Officer

·       Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Administrative Sciences, or related fields.

·       Relevant experience in HR administration, procurement coordination, logistics, and office administration.

Grants Accountant

·       Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related fields.

·       Experience in grants management, budgeting, donor reporting, accounting, and financial reconciliation.

·       Knowledge of accounting systems and donor compliance requirements.

Head of Finance

·       Advanced qualifications in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related fields.

·       Significant leadership experience in financial management, budgeting, risk management, and compliance.

·       Strong understanding of donor-funded projects and financial reporting standards.

 

AVAILABLE POSITIONS

·       Customer Care Assistant (2 Positions – Gikongoro & Kayonza)

·       Administration and Human Resource Officer (2 Positions – Byumba & Kayonza)

·       Grants Accountant (2 Positions – Kayonza & Gikongoro)

·       Head of Finance (1 Position – Kigali, Kacyiru)

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Customer Care Assistant

·       Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally.

·       Maintain accurate customer records and databases.

·       Support stakeholder communication and information dissemination.

·       Coordinate customer-related information and administrative support.

·       Promote consistent and quality customer service delivery.

Administration and Human Resource Officer

·       Coordinate HR and administrative services at Program Area level.

·       Maintain employee records and support onboarding processes.

·       Facilitate procurement, logistics, fleet, and asset management activities.

·       Ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures.

·       Prepare administrative and coordination reports.

Grants Accountant

·       Manage grant financial records and reporting.

·       Monitor grant budgets and expenditure compliance.

·       Prepare donor financial reports and audit documentation.

·       Reconcile grant-related accounts and transactions.

·       Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.

Head of Finance

·       Lead financial planning, budgeting, and treasury functions.

·       Oversee financial reporting and compliance processes.

·       Develop and monitor risk management policies.

·       Manage audits and donor compliance requirements.

·       Provide strategic financial advice to management and the Board.
