DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Bank Agronomist

·       Assess the technical, commercial, and climate resilience of agricultural projects.

·       Conduct project appraisals and prepare financing recommendations.

·       Monitor agricultural projects through field visits and technical assessments.

·       Analyze agricultural data and identify potential risks.

·       Support agribusiness pipeline development and financing proposals.

·       Build partnerships with government agencies, financial institutions, NGOs, and development partners.

·       Provide technical advisory services and respond to client inquiries.

Inspection Officer

·       Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with study loan repayment regulations.

·       Review loan repayment records, employment contracts, and academic records.

·       Prepare inspection reports and compliance recommendations.

·       Enforce loan repayment regulations where necessary.

·       Guide beneficiaries and employers on loan repayment procedures and the MINUZA system.

·       Maintain accurate inspection records and support public awareness initiatives.

Investment Analyst – Agriculture Portfolio

·       Identify and evaluate investment opportunities across agricultural value chains.

·       Conduct financial, technical, environmental, and market analysis.

·       Perform project site visits and investment appraisals.

·       Structure financing proposals and assess project risks.

·       Build relationships with cooperatives, farmers, financial institutions, and development partners.

·       Monitor financed projects and portfolio performance.

Business Analyst – Advisory Services Unit

·       Support business advisory initiatives within the Business Development Department.

·       Analyze business opportunities and prepare advisory recommendations.

·       Assist clients in improving business proposals and investment readiness.

·       Contribute to business development strategies and advisory projects.

·       Support stakeholder engagement and project implementation.
