ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

·       Hold a relevant Master's degree in the respective field.

·       Possess the required Bachelor's degree as specified for each position.

·       Transcript or degree showing at least a Second-Class Upper Division.

·       Have at least one publication in a peer-reviewed indexed journal (where required).

·       Demonstrate strong communication, analytical, interpersonal, leadership, and organizational skills.

·       Have knowledge of TVET policies and Competence-Based Training and Assessment (CBT/A) methodology.

·       Be proficient in English as the medium of instruction (language-specific requirements apply for language positions).

·       Possess digital literacy and excellent time management skills. 

AVAILABLE POSITIONS

RP Tumba College is recruiting for the following positions:

·       Assistant Lecturer in French and English Languages

·       Assistant Lecturer in English and Kiswahili Languages

·       Assistant Lecturer in Electronics and Telecommunication Technology

·       Assistant Lecturer in Smart Manufacturing 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Successful candidates will be expected to:

·       Teach and train students in their area of specialization.

·       Prepare lectures, conduct research, and publish scholarly work.

·       Participate in curriculum development, planning, and implementation.

·       Supervise students' projects and provide academic mentorship.

·       Facilitate students during industrial attachment programs.

·       Participate in professional development and institutional income-generating activities.

·       Conduct training needs assessments aligned with the curriculum.

·       Provide professional and technical advice to the institution.

·       Perform other duties assigned by supervisors. 

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS

·        Relevant Master's degree certificate.

·        Bachelor's degree certificate.

·        Academic transcript showing at least a Second-Class Upper Division.

·        Evidence of at least one publication in a peer-reviewed indexed journal (where applicable).
