ASA International (Rwanda) Plc (ASA Rwanda) is a microfinance institution that provides loans and savings to small businesses. Licensed by the National Bank of Rwanda, ASA Rwanda started its operations in 2016 and now has 37 branches across the country. The company focuses on helping low-income individuals and entrepreneurs by giving them access to financial support.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

• Nationality: Rwandan
• Experience: Minimum 1 year in IT support (help desk & hardware maintenance preferred)
• Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of hardware, software, and networking principles
• Communication: Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
• Work Style: Independent and team-oriented collaboration
• Organization: Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
• Learning & Adaptability: Willingness to stay updated with emerging technologies
• Software Proficiency: Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite & G Suite
• Security Awareness: Understanding of network security best practices
• Mobility: Willingness to travel across ASA Rwanda branches
• Work Ethic: Ability to perform under pressure and meet deadlines efficiently
• Education: A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: All these responsibilities will be handled by selected employees

1. TECHNICAL DUTIES

• Technical Support: Assist computer systems, software, and network infrastructure.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues to minimize downtime.
• Installation & Maintenance: Set up and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
• Software Updates: Apply security patches and update applications for system integrity.
• User Training: Assist and train end-users in troubleshooting and software usage.
• Asset Management: Maintain an accurate inventory of hardware and software assets.
• Service Response: Address technical requests promptly for timely problem resolution.

2. CUSTOMER DUTIES

• User Experience Enhancement: Provide high-quality support to address user concerns promptly and professionally.
• Satisfaction Improvement: Develop strategies to boost user satisfaction and ensure a positive service experience.
• Clear Communication: Offer transparent and effective communication, ensuring users feel informed and supported throughout the troubleshooting process.

3. REPORTING AND ANALYSIS

• Report Preparation: Compile comprehensive weekly reports detailing completed tasks, resolutions, and overall system performance.
• Feedback & Recommendations: Continuously provide insightful feedback to supervisors on recurring issues, proposing actionable solutions or preventive strategies to mitigate future occurrences.
• Proactive Issue Analysis: Monitor and analyze recurring support tickets to identify patterns, offering proactive solutions and improvements to address underlying hardware and software challenges.

• Proof of Experience: Documents that validate work experience, such as references, previous employer details, or pay slips.
