ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

·       Hold the required Advanced Diploma (A1), Bachelor's Degree, or Master's Degree in the relevant field as specified for each position.

·       Have 3 years of relevant experience for Advanced Diploma or Bachelor's Degree holders, or 1 year of relevant experience for Master's Degree holders.

·       Demonstrate strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.

·       Be proficient in Kinyarwanda, English and/or French. Knowledge of all three languages is an added advantage.

·       Possess strong digital literacy and professionalism.

·       Be willing to undergo Psychometric, Written, and Oral examinations.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. IoT & Smart City Specialist

·       Lead the implementation of Rwanda's Smart City Master Plan.

·       Design and implement IoT-based smart city solutions.

·       Coordinate smart city projects, budgets, vendors, and technical resources.

·       Review smart city proposals and provide technical guidance.

·       Research, test, document, and deploy IoT solutions.

·       Monitor emerging technologies and recommend improvements.

·       Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure successful project implementation.

·       Prepare project budgets and concept notes.

·       Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor.

Software Developers

·       Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications.

·       Upgrade and improve existing software systems.

·       Develop clean, secure, and well-documented code.

·       Implement system integrations and interoperability solutions.

·       Perform software testing, quality assurance, and optimization.

·       Maintain version control and software releases.

·       Resolve software bugs and enhance existing applications.

·       Deploy applications and provide user training and technical support.

·       Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor.
