Successful candidates will be responsible for handling customer transactions, supporting banking operations, responding to customer inquiries, processing payments and deposits, and ensuring that transactions are completed accurately and in accordance with established banking procedures and internal controls.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Applicants should meet the following requirements:

·       Hold a Bachelor’s degree in any field of study.

·       Have achieved First Class Honors or Second-Class Upper Division/equivalent.

·       Demonstrate a strong willingness to pursue a career in banking.

·       Have business and data analysis abilities.

·       Demonstrate numerical proficiency and confidence in handling cash and financial information.

·       Possess strong customer service skills.

·       Have excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

·       Be computer literate, particularly in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other office software.

·       Have good verbal and written communication skills in English and Kinyarwanda.

·       Knowledge of French is an added advantage.

·       Demonstrate good organizational and time-management skills.

Entry-Level Positions – Multiple Vacancies

Equity Bank Rwanda is recruiting fresh graduates for entry-level opportunities involving customer service, banking transactions, cash management, remittances, account-related services, and other banking operations.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Successful candidates will be responsible for:

·       Managing cash transactions and payments.

·       Accepting cash and cheques for deposit.

·       Verifying deposit slips and accurately processing cash withdrawals.

·       Recording transactions promptly and accurately in accordance with bank procedures.

·       Balancing currency, cash, and cheques in the cash drawer at the end of each shift.

·       Responding to customer inquiries regarding account balances, statements, cheque books, and digital banking products.

·       Generating reports on newly opened accounts.

·       Processing incoming and outgoing remittances accurately and on time.

·       Ensuring that transaction processing complies with internal controls.

·       Helping to prevent fraud, losses, and forgery related to remittances.

·       Performing other duties assigned by the line manager.
