The Open Doors International Olympiad is organized in cooperation with Russian higher education institutions and relevant government authorities. The competition is conducted in English and Russian and provides opportunities across Undergraduate, Master’s, Doctoral, and Postdoctoral tracks.

SCHOLARSHIP BENEFITS

Successful Open Doors winners may receive:

·       Full tuition fee coverage at participating Russian universities.

·       Access to Bachelor’s, Master’s, Doctoral, or Postdoctoral opportunities depending on the selected track.

·       No entrance examination for winners admitted through the scholarship pathway.

·       Doctoral-track winners can select a prospective research supervisor and participate in an interview.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Applicants should meet the requirements applicable to their selected track:

·       The competition is open to foreign citizens and stateless persons, including compatriots living abroad.

·       For the Master’s track, applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree or be completing a Bachelor’s degree during the year of the Olympiad final.

·       For the Doctoral track, applicants must hold a Master’s or Specialist’s degree or complete the relevant degree during the year of the Olympiad final.

·       Applicants must agree to the processing of personal data in accordance with applicable Russian legislation.

·       Participants must register only once during the competition year. Multiple registrations may result in disqualification.

·       Applicants should meet any additional academic requirements established for their selected subject and university.

AVAILABLE PROGRAMS

The Open Doors competition covers multiple academic fields through different subject areas. Opportunities are available across:

·       Bachelor’s / Undergraduate programs

·       Master’s programs

APPLICATION PROCEDURES

To apply for the Open Doors Scholarship 2027:

2.     Click “SIGN UP” to create an account.

3.     Provide your personal information, email address, and create a password.

4.     Access your personal account after successful registration.

5.     Complete your portfolio according to the provided requirements.

6.     Review the portfolio evaluation criteria and available subject areas.

7.     Participate in the required stages of the Olympiad.

8.     Follow the instructions provided through your personal account regarding subsequent stages and university admission.

The competition includes a portfolio-based first stage and a problem-solving second stage. For the Doctoral track, subsequent stages may include selecting a prospective research supervisor and completing an interview.
