King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) is a leading research university in Saudi Arabia specializing in science, engineering, technology, and related disciplines. Successful applicants admitted to eligible graduate programs are automatically considered for the KAUST Fellowship, with no separate scholarship application required.

APPLICATION PROCEDURES

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

For Spring 2027, PhD applications have a deadline of 27 September 2026, with decisions expected on 8 November 2026 and the semester beginning on 17 January 2027.

For Fall 2027, applications for Master’s, MS/PhD, and PhD programs have a deadline of 3 January 2027. Decisions are expected on 14 February 2027, while the Fall semester is scheduled to begin on 29 August 2027.

Applicants targeting Fall 2027 are encouraged to begin preparing their transcripts, CV, statement of purpose, English test results, and referee information well in advance.
