RSSB plays an important role in managing and promoting social security in Rwanda. The institution manages six social security schemes, including Pension, Occupational Hazards, Medical Scheme, CBHI, Maternity Leave Benefits, and EjoHeza.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Lead, Pension Verification

Applicants must meet one of the following requirements:

·       A Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Actuarial Science, Social Protection Financing, Accounting, Business Management, Social Sciences, or a relevant field, with at least 3 years of relevant experience, including 3 years in a Senior Officer role.

·       OR a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Actuarial Science, Accounting, Business Management, Social Sciences, or a relevant field, with at least 5 years of relevant experience, including 4 years in a Senior Officer role.

Applicants should also have experience in pension and benefit management, an understanding of retirement provisions, and knowledge of social security legislation and relevant laws.

Driver

Applicants for the Driver position must have:

·       At least a Senior Six certificate, diploma, or bachelor's degree.

·       A valid driving licence and relevant driving experience.

·       A strong driving record and good navigation skills.

·       Customer service, basic vehicle maintenance, problem-solving, time-management, and attention-to-detail skills.

·       Strong communication, interpersonal skills, client service focus, and integrity.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead, Pension Verification

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

·       Managing the end-to-end verification of pension benefit applications, including old-age, invalidity, anticipated, and survivors' benefits.

·       Ensuring pension applications meet eligibility requirements and comply with relevant policies, laws, and regulations.

·       Leading, training, and evaluating the pension verification team.

·       Coordinating and approving investigation reports on pension files requiring further inquiry.

·       Liaising with banks on pension payment processes and resolving related issues.

·       Supporting pensioners and employees with verification-related questions and claim status.

·       Identifying and mitigating risks, including fraud detection and prevention.

·       Reviewing and improving pension verification procedures.

·       Analyzing pension verification data to identify trends and areas for improvement.

Driver

The Driver will be responsible for:

·        Providing transportation services for RSSB staff.

·        Updating vehicle logbooks daily.

·        Ensuring timely vehicle maintenance and repairs.

·        Providing guidance on transport services.

·        Keeping assigned vehicles clean, safe, and properly equipped.

·        Maintaining vehicle mileage records.

·        Reporting accidents, injuries, and vehicle damage to management.

·        Adjusting routes when necessary to avoid traffic and road construction.

·        Collecting and delivering mail and other materials to relevant institutions.

·        Collecting proforma invoices from suppliers.

·        Processing documents requiring signatures from the Board of Directors.

·        Performing other duties related to Asset Management and Logistics as assigned.
