ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
To be considered for the Process Technician position at Bralirwa, candidates should meet the following criteria:

• Hold a bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Food Science, or a related field.
• Preferably have experience working on the production floor in the beverage industry.
• Be familiar with improvement methods like TPM, Lean, or Six Sigma.
• Be fluent in both English and Kinyarwanda, in speaking and writing.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. SAFETY, FOOD SAFETY AND SUSTAINABILITY
• Works in line with the defined and implemented HEINEKEN Safety, Food safety, and Sustainability standards, in the Brewing department and local regulation(s)
• Contributes, applies, and follows the Safety agenda in the Brewing department.
• Assures removal of all the waste from the department premises.
• Safety tasks are executed and sustained at the required level.

2. QUALITY OF THE PROCESS AND PRODUCT
• Makes timely supply of all raw, auxiliary, and cleaning & disinfection material at the place of use.
• Makes basic inspection of the materials to be sure that quality is not compromised.
• Monitors the quality of the product & process.

3. TPM AND CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT
• Recognizes the tags and some of the improvement opportunities and executes the tasks accordingly.
• Executes the 5S, tagging process, CILT, and applies problem-solving tools.
• Participates / leads in the improvement teams.

4. PROCESS MANAGEMENT & CONDITION MANAGEMENT
• Operates and executes all brewing operational process(es) on the machine in line with the valid standards and procedures.
• Manages documentation and reporting of the area of work till his / her level of authority.
• Contributes to the continuous improvement activities and in case of deviations reports it to the Brewing Shift Supervisor.

5. EQUIPMENT MANAGEMENT - EQUIPMENT OPERATION & CONTROL
• Operates with all machines/process (es).
