SCHOLARSHIP BENEFITS

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
To qualify for the TAGDev 2.0 Scholarship, applicants must:

• Be Ghanaian nationals or refugees residing in Ghana
• Be from economically disadvantaged backgrounds
• Be under 30 years old for undergraduate programs and under 35 years old for master’s programs
• Have completed secondary school between 2021 and 2024 (for undergraduate applicants)
• Meet UCC’s admission requirements for the selected program
• Have a strong interest in agriculture, agribusiness, and entrepreneurship
• Demonstrate leadership qualities and commitment to community development
• Female candidates, refugees, and persons with disabilities are highly encouraged to apply

• BSc in Horticulture

Master’s Programs

• MPhil in Molecular Biology and Biotechnology

• MPhil in Aquaculture
• MPhil in Crop Science

• Academic transcripts, certificates, or results slips

• Completed scholarship application form

Step 1: Apply for Admission at UCC
1. Open the Application link at the bottom of this page.
2. Click on Admissions → Select TAGDev 2.0 Admissions 2025
3. Complete the online application form or download and fill out the form
4. Attach all required documents and submit your application

Step 2: Apply for the Scholarship
1. Visit the RUFORUM Information Management System (RIMS) website: here
2. Register and create an account
3. Log in and select Call ID: RU/2025 UCC/TAGDEV2.0
4. Fill out the application form and upload your documents
5. Download, print, and submit the form along with your UCC application

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

• This is a highly competitive scholarship. Only the best applicants will be selected.
• Scholarship recipients are expected to become leaders and changemakers in their communities.
• Any applicant found with false information will be disqualified.
• Academic performance matters! Students must maintain a minimum GPA to retain the scholarship.
