2. Medical Imaging Technologist

Qualifications:

·       Bachelor’s Degree in Radiology (3 years experience)

·       Advanced Diploma in Radiology (5 years experience)

·       Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Imaging Technology with three (3) years of relevant hospital experience and valid professional registration

Required Certificate:

·       Valid license to practice issued by the Professional Council in Rwanda

3. Nurse in Surgical Department

·       Posts: 6

·       Reports To: Senior Nurse in Surgical Department

Qualifications:

·       Advanced Diploma in General Nursing (0 years experience)

Required Certificate:

·       Valid license to practice issued by the Professional Council in Rwanda

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Central Sterile and Supply Technician

·       Reprocessing and sterilization of invasive medical devices

·       Collecting and transporting used items safely to CSSD

·       Decontamination, inspection, testing, packaging, and sterilization of devices

·       Operating washer/disinfectors, ultrasonic cleaners, and sterilizers

·       Reporting equipment faults

·       Distribution and storage of sterilized devices

·       Preparing required packs for theatres and wards

Medical Imaging Technologist

·       Assessing patients and determining appropriate radiographic techniques

·       Performing radiographic examinations

·       Assisting radiologists in complex procedures

·       Ensuring radiation safety compliance

·       Maintaining imaging equipment functionality

·       Recording accurate patient documentation

·       Participating in quality assurance and hospital hygiene initiatives

Nurse in Surgical Department

·       Conducting patient assessments and administering medications

·       Preparing and implementing nursing care plans

·       Monitoring and documenting vital signs and patient conditions

·       Participating in ward rounds

·       Educating patients and families

·       Maintaining accurate medical records

·       Responding to emergencies

·       Mentoring nursing students

·       Ensuring compliance with professional ethics and hospital policies
