JOB OPPORTUNITIES AT RWANDA TVET BOARD (RTB) – MULTIPLE POSITIONS


The Rwanda TVET Board (RTB) invites qualified and motivated candidates to apply for several job opportunities in different positions within the Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) system in Rwanda. These positions aim to strengthen training institutions by recruiting skilled professionals who can contribute to quality education, effective school management, and student development. Register now for new programs at MK SCHOLARS

Successful candidates will support the delivery of practical training, financial management, and student welfare services within TVET schools. All applicants will be required to undergo a Psychometric Test and a Written Examination as part of the recruitment process.

 

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Applicants must meet the following requirements depending on the position:

·       Interior Design Teacher (A0)

o   Bachelor’s Degree in Creative Design, Interior Design, Architecture, or Industrial Design.

o   0 years of relevant experience required.

·       School Accountant (A0)

o   Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Business Management, Economics, Management, or related fields.

o   0 years of relevant experience required.

·       Matron (A2)

o   A2 Certificate in any field.

o   Must be female and ready to live at school.

·       Patron (A2)

o   A2 Certificate in any field.

o   Must be male and ready to live at school.

·       Citizenship Teacher (A0)

o   Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology, Social Work, Political Science, Social Science, Governance and Leadership, or Geography and History with Education.

o   0 years of relevant experience required.

 

AVAILABLE POSITIONS

The following positions are currently open at Rwanda TVET Board:

1.     Interior Design Teacher (A0)

2.     School Accountant (A0)

3.     Matron (A2)

4.     Patron (A2)

5.     Citizenship Teacher (A0)

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Depending on the position, selected candidates will perform the following duties:

·       Prepare and deliver training sessions according to TVET modules.

·       Facilitate effective learning and maintain classroom management.

·       Conduct student assessments, mark examinations, and provide feedback.

·       Assist students in portfolio development and innovative project design.

·       Maintain training equipment and ensure proper use of school resources.

·       Participate in integrating academic learning with industry standards.

·       Prepare accurate financial reports and manage payment processes (for Accountant).

·       Ensure proper documentation and financial record keeping (for Accountant).

·       Maintain discipline and support students’ welfare and extracurricular activities (for Matron/Patron).

·       Work closely with the trainees’ council and encourage participation in sports and school activities.

·       Participate in school development activities and marketing initiatives such as open days.

·       Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor.
