The Higher Education Council (HEC) invites eligible Rwandan students to apply for scholarships offered by the Kingdom of Morocco to the Government of Rwanda for the 2026/2027 academic year. The scholarships are available for studies at Diploma, Bachelor's, Master's and PhD levels.

The scholarship opportunity is offered through cooperation between the Kingdom of Morocco and the Government of Rwanda, with applications coordinated by the Higher Education Council (HEC). Successful candidates will study in Moroccan public training institutions and universities, with programmes taught in French.

SCHOLARSHIP BENEFITS

The announcement confirms the availability of scholarships for eligible Rwandan students to pursue higher education and training in Morocco for the 2026/2027 academic year.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Applicants must meet the requirements for their chosen level of study:

Diploma Programmes

Candidates applying for Diploma programmes in Technical and Vocational Education must:

·       Have completed Technical Secondary School (TSS) and STEM-related combinations during the 2024/2025 school year.

·       Have obtained at least 70% in the 2025 National Examination results.

Bachelor's Degree Programmes

Candidates applying for Bachelor's Degree programmes in General Education must:

·       Have completed their secondary studies in STEM-related combinations during the 2024/2025 school year.

·       Have obtained at least 70% in the 2025 National Examination results.

Master's and PhD Programmes

Candidates applying for Master's Degree or PhD programmes must have obtained at least 14/20 (Second Class Upper Division) or an equivalent qualification in their previously completed level of study.

The programmes will be offered by Moroccan public training institutions and universities and will be taught in French.

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS

Interested candidates must prepare and submit the following documents:

·       An application letter addressed to the Director General of HEC, clearly indicating the programme the candidate wishes to study.

·       A copy of a valid National ID or passport.

·       A copy of the transcript from the last year of high school for Diploma and Bachelor's Degree applicants.

·       A copy of the transcript from the previous university level for Master's and PhD applicants.

·       A copy of the certificate or degree from the most recently completed level of study.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

The scholarships will commence during the 2026/2027 academic year and are intended for study in Morocco at public training institutions and universities.

All programmes under this scholarship opportunity will be taught in French, and applicants should take this language requirement into consideration before applying.
